Angry cruise control not working!

just wondering if anyone alse has had a problem w/ the cc not working? i have a 01 civic and it has been to the dealership 3 times already and it still doesnt work.... i hit the cruise button to turn it on and then i hit the set button on the steering wheel and nothing!! and i know how to use it b/c i use to all the time... the dealership has replaced the switch but still no success!!!

try to reset the car by disconnecting the battery ( make sure you have the code for your radio) also what speed are you trying to engage the CRUISE I mean it has to be engaged above 30 mph.

ill try to disconnect the battery and see... i dont have a stock radio so i dont have to worry bout the code...i am doin at least 60mph!!

the fawking dealership blamed it on my aftermarket indiglo gauges
they said i disconnected a wire or something so my cruise control
don't work either....

im surprised the dealership hasnt blamed it on my reverse indiglos!!!!but i know that is not the problem.

Did the problem start with you installed the gauges? How can you say it is not the problem? How do you know for SURE?

Maybe the wire is burned somewhere .... you can try to check for signal from end to end, but i'm not sure where those "ends" are. heh
