Bad start, bad shifts, and check engine light

Bad start, bad shifts, and check engine light So I was driving from Amarillo to Ft.Worth, TX, with 150miles to go, and the check engine light comes on. The car had been starting crappy before this during the trip...just had to crank it. So I hit the city, and needed to change lanes and speed up.....the car wouldn't shift. From that point to the dealer, it shifted badly. Turned out to be a bad fuel pump, so if anyone experiences this, PM me!
