Rust from wing installation
I had my wing painted and installed at a local autobody shop, and it turns out they did a half-assed job. First (I had posted this previously) there was stuff in the paint (a bug and other stuff). Second, which just came to my attention recently, there are rust particles embedded in my paint (or at least appear to be). A result of drilling the trunk lid and letting the shavings fall onto the sides of the car and trunklid. And normally the shavings are hot too right after you drill a hole, so I am thinking they are melted into the clearcoat. I have tried taking some of them off, but it's not working. Heres where I need advice from you more experienced in this stuff than I.
What should I do about this? Can they repair this properly? Can it be buffed out? I am ticked so I want to just tell them off, but I need this repaired because it will only rust more if left like it is. My car is Satin Silver too, so it looks like total crap. If they fix it, would it come out ok? I don't want them to fix it half-assed and then have it still look like crap later on down the road. I just want to know like what a consumer is entitled to with this type of horrible workmanship. A big autobody shop should know how to do something like this easily, or so I would have thought. Anyway, please help me out! THANKS
