auto trans grinding??

It's been kinda cold up here in MA lately and I've noticed that my auto transmission has been shifting into drive really harshly lately, harsh enough that it makes a god awful crunchign noise when it engages. What do you think is goin on with this??

hmm.. sounds pretty serious. i'd take it to the dealership to get it looked at.

yeah once in a while i get that cruching noise/feeling too... sometimes the car just doesnt wanna shift right. rarely thogh.
