Maintenace Required Light

My maintenance required light is stuck on the on setting! I've tried what is says in the owner's manual on how to turn it off (about holding down the reset button while turning the ignition to the on position) but that doesn't work. Are there any other options for me to do it myself?

1. go to your dealer
2. pull out the cluster then plug it back in
3. i'm out of ideas, i'm going to bed

You need to press it in while the car is off and hold it for about 10secs. Next, start engine while keeping the button depressed. Do not release it till it blinks or goes off or whatever.

i just did this a few weeks ago. before you turn you car off make sure your odometer reading is showing not your A and B trip setting. press the button ,then turn your car off. basically just follow the directions. you should be good to go.
