bad struts!?!?!

well just got my car inspected, and this year just like last i have another leaky strut on my front drivers side. ok i know that there have been problems with these struts but i already have had them replaced once, and now its the same thing. can anyone tell me could there be a problem with the car itself that would cause the struts to go bad, or is it possible that they replaced the bad ones with some more bad ones???

Same thing happened to me. First they were creaking and replaced at the end of August. And now they creak, and moan, and kinda sound like metal to metal contact. The dealer found them, I assume both the "new" ones to be leaking. I went to my dealer with all the TSB's related to front struts and they are replacing both of them again. I also went to the with copies of the TSB for the seat rock, cuz my seat started doing that again. Just go back and bitch.

Yeah I had a blow strut on my front passenger side. It was under warranty, but I traded in the car for my 02 SI so I didn't have to deal with it.

hey, i wanna check to see if my struts are leaky... without having
to pay a stealership $50 just to look at it.

if i have a leaky strut, will it be very noticeable just by looking at it?

can i just lift the car up, and look under it and look for fluid on the
strut?

Yes... if it's leaking the strut will be coated with an oily liquid which you can easily see.
