Ok , so I decide to let my little dumbass brother who just got his license, to take my ride for a spin and go the gas station to fill my tank up. To make a long story short, he scraped the side of my civic against the outside of the garage backing out. Now I have some white paint on the side of the car. Then to make me even more pissed, he didnt tell me he did it and thought he would take some RUBBING ALCOHOL!!!!! and get the paint off and I would never know. Well the next day I see the side of the garage is scraped up and I asked him what happened, he told me and told me what he did, he got the paint off but I am now freaking because rubbing alcohol takes the protective finish off of our cars! Now its gonna rust there if I dont find some help!!!!!!! Somebody give me some ideas on what I could do to restore the protective shine, The area he scraped the car against the garage was about 7-10 inches. So I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks !

Did he take it down to bare metal? If it didnt remove the paint you should be able to just use the clear coat stuff Honda sells, or just put some wax on it. Someone correct me please if I'm wrong..

Make your brother pay for it. it won't rust till it's down to the metal and get the clear coat put back on and you will be fine.
