ok so i just picked up my girl from school and were bout to get somthing to eat when my car starts acting up. it would just rev up to red line when i was only at about 3k for no reason. and bout 5 minutes later the transmission goes out and i cant move. i put it in gear and it just revs up. and the messed up part is i drive an automatic. so i wait 2 hours for a tow truck to come and take my car back to honda, where i almost commited a murder i tell them the tranny is all a.f.u. and that its under warranty still and say that the earliest i will have my car back is friday i almost cried. so my week has started off great i just had an abortion from my baby well thats all i just had to vent

Are you ever abusive to it? Do you accelerate hard a lot, step on the gas in neutral and shift to drive, or anything else that the car wasn't originally designed for? That is really weird...

me too , but mine was a crash lasta firday and its in the apont shop its going to take 2 weeks before i drive it agian [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG] that sucks !!

Damn, that sux. I wonder if you got one of the cars that had the recall on the tranny?? I'd hate to see a ride like yours broke down on the road.

naw i dont drive it hard, very rarly take it up to redline and ive never n-bombed it thats just wrong

same thing happened to me, except i drive stick. the tranny just died and i couldnt move. It got towed to honda, and they called me the next day to come in. I did and there was a frickin hole in the transmission housing!!! The housing was actually cracked!!! it was weird. they didnt want to fix it at first but after a little bitchin by me they ordered a new transmission straight from japan [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] . should be done tommorow. it sucks not having ur car. i dont no what to do with my self. they already kept it for over 2 weeks. i'm so glad they're fixin it tho, they wanted 4g's for it installed.

same thing here bro, auto tranny gave out a couple of weeks ago. some krap (not literally krap but you know) got into my torque converter (which has been replace once already) and it built up pressure in one of my hoses causing it to explode and leave me stranded in a 5 lane highway. sucked hardcore but got a new tranny. boy i tell you what...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]
