Coupe Interior fitment quality issues

The gap between the dash panels and side door panels, where they meet when you close the doors.. I can stick my whole thumb in between with door closed... I always thought it was a quirk that comes with the car, but having seen other's interior pics on the site, I'm not so sure anymore. I have beige interior so it's more noticeable. not to mention flexing door panels when rolling up/down windows.

is this gap normal? or am I just too damn paranoid.

Sounds like you got a car that was at the outer limits of the tolerences in that area. I would say it is normal even though it shouldn't be.

The door panels flexing when the window goes up and down is definately normal.

You can always try. The worst they can say is no, right?

I'd try the dealer first.

Keep in mind that letters are always taken more seriously than verbal communication. Make sure you write a professional letter with appropriate format.

I don't think they will do anything for you either way. They will simply say that it is normal.
