Grindy brake pedal... . ..

Any of your guys Civics have a grindy gritty feeling brae pedal? When i step on my brake, the actual brake pedal itself feels gritty.. the pushing downaction isnt smooth. Im sure it has nothing to do with the breaks, my 02 EX auto brakes smooth and quickly (probably best feature of car) Maybe theres sand in the hinges of the pedal where it pivots? Weird!

Hey i have the same prob. It happens when I start pushing down on the brake and I feel this rubbery gritty feel but it feels fine when u7 push it down all the way[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

I was in Chicago this weekend... and all Friday evening, my brakes continued to GRIND like there's no tomorrow. It was like the car was sitting in a corrosion chamber for a few months with the rotors all rusted through. Unfortunately, the GRINDING did not reoccur later on in the weekend. I was so sure this would happen. Now it's going to be difficult to convince the dealer to work on my car if the GRINDING can't be recreated. WTF! Oh well... I'm going to attempt to see the dealer anyways... for the 3rd time about these POS brakes.
