02 Civic EX ECU Unstable?

It seems the car's 0 - 60 times are way out of range. One day it's 9.07 seconds, the next time it's 10.48 secs ? Sometimes the VTEC kicks in strong, other times I don't feel it at all which gives a poor time... Sometimes it shifts near 7000rpm, other times it shifts @ 6400rpm (blah)... So I reset the ecu.. Now the car is back to doing 9.5's again which is what i usually got time & time again! What is going on here ? I have tested several cars over a period time, and most of them stay within .5 seconds difference... not 1.5 seconds! My VIN number doesn't fall within the vehicles affected list. Well, I don't know what's going on! Maybe when I put my accessories on and then get my ecu done by JET (no not that Afro-American magazine...) it'll clear up! Anyone else have problems with performance inconsistency ? It's not just your car. Plenty of cars have this problem, mostly affected by weather or humidity changes.

Dont forget that your ECU has a learning mode. Some call it BLM's(block learning modes). After you reset your ECU, your suppose to drive it a certain way so that it learns your style. Sumptin like that.. I think the manual has a blurb about it in the smog section. I think when you reset you start off richer(or leaner?). Maybe this is why.. dunno.
