anyone have air come out the side vents on defrost only mode??

anyone have air come out the side vents on defrost only mode??

the problem is that even when the fan is set to just defrost, air blows out of the side vents (not the vents above the side vents that defrost the side windows, but the ones below them). actually, air blows out of those vents no matter what position the fan selector is at. never had this sort of thing happen with any other car. anyone else have this problem? i will probably get it checked out if i am the only one.

and what can i say about the rattles in this car... can't believe they appeared so fast and are so loud!

This isnt really a problem Im pretty sure all of them do that, at least mine always has. ya I hear lots of creaks and rattles too on bumpy roads.

Mine do that, too. I just use the little dial and close the vents manually.

thx for the input, i'm surprised other people have this happen too, what happened to that legendary honda build quality...
guess i will at least see what the honda dealer thinks b/c it would be nice to be able to defrost the windshield without having hot air blowing on me makin me really hot..

That isn't right, when I turn on the defrosters, only air comes out through the top of the dash like its supose to. You do get some air coming out the top of the vent for the side windows, but it shouldn't blow straight out through the vents. Take it back to the dealer if its under warrenty.
