2ND GEAR ISSUES

Alright, I got a 02 LX Coupe Manual. For some reason everytime I have the car in second and turn the wheel to the right, there is a rattling noise. But the moment i take it out of second, it stops. But if its in 2nd, wether i have the clutch down or not, or if i am taking a right hand turn at 5mph or 15mph, it still does it. So i dropped the car off at the dealer, but i wont know what is up till tomorrow, what do you all think it could be. Loose Mounts? Syncro?

man i am going through the same problem. i took it in two weeks ago and they keep it all day only to tell me that the service manager wanted to go for a ride with me. before i even got out of the parking lot it made the noise. so then i took it back last week and they told me that i needed the new reverse shift fork thing. i have only been complaining about this for 6 months. i even took a copy of the service bulletin for them to look at but they just told me that it didn't apply to my car. still haven't firgured that out yet but oh well. the part is on order and should be in sometime this week. good luck dude. just do alot of complaining and it will get fixed. i had to go all the way to the regional customer service place and file a complaint.

There is no "official" TSB for this problem. If there was, it would make Honda's look more reliable than they actually are.
