It's normal; just like the little maintenance required button on older Hondas, just telling you a service is due like 20k, etc.

read your manual ... or if you don't feel like doing that then hold done the reset botton (to the right of the steering wheel) for ten seconds .. and make sure your service it if you haven't already.

As I recall there is a 7500 mile service, but it's pretty minor, so just take it for next oil change.

Look under TECH STUFF...like page 3 or something
I helped 'clover' fix his situation with the "how-to-reset" instructions

if you don't turn it off...it'll stay on constantly after 10k miles...just read the manual to turn that off...and get ur scheduled maintenance.

My maintenance required light is stuck on the on setting! I've tried what it says in the owner's manual on how to turn it off (about holding down the reset button while turning the ignition to the on position) but that doesn't work. Are there any other options for me to do it myself?

all you need to do is make sure your odometer reading is showing. not your A and B trip setting. then follow the directions. why our cars are set up that way i don't know. but i did this a few weeks ago. it was a trial and error deal but what finnally worked was that i made sure my odometer reading was showing.
