just heard from honda

i took my cr in for a leak and they told me that they couldn't fix it because they were to busy. how lame is that. they also said they couldn't hear the rattle in 2nd gear that i told them about because there was to much water on the road. then they said that the vibrating under the passenger floor everyone knows what im talking about was water getting on my cat. not in it just on it. don't they get wet anyway. they said it was because of my dc tcs. they need to get there act together. anyone with the 1-800 # to customer service. god this sucks!

i know where your coming from...i too had that problem with the vibrating exhaust, took it to the dealer and they said it was my thermal exhaust, they said they wouldnt fix it unless i had my stock pipe available so they could send it to honda and get a new one...buuuut stupid me i got rid of it.

I ended up buying a stock B pipe ($171, )...then they said they would install it for $99 (kiss my honda) so i too it to mineke and had it and my new axle back exhaust installed for $40

GUESS WHAT!! the vibrating that occured in the rain and the buzzing that occured while the car wasnt moving has stopped...

i was told that the vibrating IS from water getting on the exhaust...it affects some exhausts and not others tho...my magnaflow never had that problem, my thermal did...its the way the B pipe (from the cat) is bent or something like that...

its fixex now and i love my new exhaust....sorry for the long post

p.s. your dealer SUCKS! call honda customer service and complain

Yeah... never toss your stock parts. It's always best to go to a dealer that's **** about warranties with your car looking stock.

But when I get my coilovers I hope I forget what stock height looks like.

the lemon law started in CA in response to unfortunate peeps getting a "lemon" (a car that has problems which aren't resolved after a certain number of trips to the dealer in the first year, or something like that) when they buy their new car. in the olden days, you were just up s*** creek (hmm.. when's the last time anyone used that expression...) but after the lemon law came into effect, lemon owners could (after qualifying a bunch of requirements like i mentioned above) eventually be entitled to a new replacement car or perhaps a refund. now all states have similar laws, which is nice to know considering the decline of honda build quality.
