downshift from 4th?
Sometimes when i am slowing down in my automatic it will downshift kinda rough( i think from 4th to 3rd but could be 3rd to 2nd) and i changed my tran. fluid at about 45000 and was hoping that woudl fix it, but it doesnt seem to have done the job. anyone know what the problem could be?
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
Chris
that is odd man I would venture to say its either a torque converter problem... a sticking valve body or a kickdown cable problem.. I am ruling out the sticking valve body considering it didnt get any better when you changed the fluid.
did you notice any problems when it shifts up into 3 or 4 ?

damn i hate to tell u guys,my friend's 01"accord had to replaced the auto trans at less than 10k miles, the dealer can and i mean "can" detect the problem from a code they have,if they dont have the code, they can obtain it from the factory, that was the case with my friend's accord, just keep takin it back, they will fix/replace it.
