thats cool cause most of us are idiots... but get a flash light and look at the tank it's pretty visible to see the green or pink liquid level. And the difference between the oils is the viscosity of it... the thickness.

yup, just use a flashlight.

I don't recommend the 5w20 that Honda does. I use 5w30. It's better.

Hola,

Engine oil, or any oil for that matter is rated for its thickness, as in viscosity. The higher the number the oil, the thicker it will be. A thick oil will provide protection while the engine is hot, a thin oil (low SAE number=thinner oil) will operate for cold temperatures. By using a 5 grade oil, friction is reduced and fuel economy is improved.

So while we drive in a mulit environment range, we must use a multi environment oil.

As for coolant, there are two kinds, the green is the normal kind that requires you to change it every two years. The orange or DexCool is specified by General Motors and lasts for 5 years. The only catch is that if you mix them, you only get the protection of the weakest one. I.E. if you use green and orange, you still have to change it every two years. But if you remove all your coolant by flushing out your system, you can add the orange coolant and get extended coverage.
