i noticed that my new coupe has pannels that move sideways when i roll the window...(power windows)
why did honda make them like this? is it supposed to keep the seal tighter so there is less road noise?
are they even supposed to move?

Do you mean you can feel the door move out when you open the window? That happens to me to. I think its so that the door can wiggle a little bit since driving with the window down is going to create some vibration. A stupid design? YES... it makes you feel like the door is going to bust open, but that seems to be the way it was done.

Its for a soild weather seal, my friends Lexus does the same thing, and my Bosses Expedition does it also, it only moves out slighty and I don't notice it unless my arms against the door.
