MAINTAINANCE REQUIRED LIGHT

I just got my 40,000 km oil change, but my Maintainence Required light is still on. How do i get rid of it?

Hold your mileage reset down and shut the car off, turn the car on again then back off, then release the button...when you turn your car on again it sould be gone.

all i did was hold my mileage reset button down and turned my car to the on position (II) and held it for 3 seconds...it went off that way

The dealership is supposed to take care of that. If you jump their case, they'll do it. The honda dealership near me has done it all times but one and when i saw, i went straight back and they took care of it right away. Call me lazy but if i'm paying $30.00 every 3,000 miles then they are gonna reset my light for free.
