Windshield Cracked

I went outside yesterday to clean up my car when I saw a huge crack in the windshield. Its almost in the dead middle of the car it starts down near the plastic part at the bottom of the windshield and runs up for about 4 inches then curves towards the passenger side of the car. I have no idea how it got there as it was fine the nite before and it was parked in the driveway all nite long. Do you think my Honda dealership will cover this crack as there is no rock chip that couldve caused it, or will I be needing to call insurance?

Take it to honda.....they'll fix if it if it is a pressure crack and not a rock crack. First off though, take a ballpoint pen and run it down the crack looking for chips. If there is even the tiniest chip along the crack, they will not fix it.

In my state (Massachusetts) they fix stuff like that for free. Everyone pays higher insurance premiums of course, but at least nobody has to drive around with a windshield that could blow out at any moment.
