2005 Honda civic won't go past 3 1/2 RPM.
I was riding calm then out of no where my engine light turned on. I stopped and turned off my car. I tried turn on my car but it wouldn't. Next day I tried and it started on with no problem. I took it for a ride and it didn' want to go 3 1/2 RPM. I think it's the fuel filter or fuel sensor. What do you guys think. And how would I be able to fix it.
If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

#1) check oil level and correct it if it is low!
#2) CEL is on: Get the codes read, tell us what the code numbers are.
Bonus points for getting the freeze frame data along with the code that set it.
#3) What trim level is the car, and which engine is in it?
