Whats a good clutch for an EP3?

ABSTACT:

I have an 2002 Honda Civic SI, and my motor mounts **** on me for Christmas. It ruined my clutch. The mechanic that changed my motor mounts said that I need to replace my clutch soon.

QUESTIONS:

Anyone have suggestions on what clutch to get?
Is it okay to get one off eBay?

I've heard of a white Christmas..sounds like you had a dark brown Christmas

A lot of people seem to use the Exedy brand: https://www.ebay.com/i/253044432077?chn=ps
Can't go wrong with Honda OEM though.

exedy oem replacement (Exedy P/N KHC09) is always a good bet.

Thanks. I didn't know Exedy is OEM.
Here's a link to the OEM part:
Amazon Amazon
Might be cheaper at HondaPartsNow?

Re: Whats a good clutch for an EP3?

I don't know for sure if exedy makes Honda's OEM clutches, but they do manufacture many OEM clutches. The exedy oem replacement is just their line of clutches that meet or exceed OEM specs.

edit: quick google search said that Daikin/Exedy make Honda's OEM clutches. At least the general consensus on the interwebs leads to high speculation (though no concrete evidence to support the belief) that Daikin/Exedy makes Honda OEM clutches.

edit 2: confirmed via exedy's OE catalog. Under "Major OE Customers," Honda Motor is listed. As is every other Japanese car company. Daikin markets most Korean, Euro, and Ford clutches under the Dynax name. GM also uses their clutches under "Daikin Drivetrain Components"

edit 3: Because everything needs a source... https://www.exedyusa.com/catalogs/oe-catalog/
