No heating or A/C
No heating or A/C
Hello I have an 02 Lxg sedan, a couple of weeks back the A/C stopped working as well as the heating. I took it to the shop and without him looking at it I was quoted $700.
Winter is coming and $700.00 sounds like a lot. Is there a way for me to do the work myself. Appreciate any direction and info you can offer...

That's all I know...

Aha!
So...the FAN IN THE DASH quit blowing air.....right?
It's either a power transistor failed or the blower motor failed.
Either item is relatively easy to figure out and only 2 or 3 screws to replace.
Not $700. Maybe $70 if you can DIY.

Stay the hell away from that place.

Not hard to figure that I am not a mechanic. That being said I am mechanically inclined. 2 to 3 screws you say, now is this under the hood or inside passenger under glove box? Can I use a meter to see which is working or is it more complicated than that? Thanks again for your time and input...
