this used to be my car 01 ex coupe
kids driving it now,
I have not seen it, but he says its has lights, etc, but no cranking,


younger kid has confirmed no crank, no click
bat volt good, all fuses good, swapped some relays around


still nothing




is there a magic wire somewhere, like the small wire an a mazda 3 starter ?

Try smacking the starter solenoid? Literally. I had no crank issues, smacked the solenoid a couple times with the drive end of a 12" 3/8" socket extension and have had no problems since.

I thought mine was clutch switch, so I wired in a momentary switch parallel to the clutch switch. Kinda ghetto job (meant to be temporary), but it worked. It worked so well the first time I tried a clutchless start (in neutral) that I thought I had fixed it. Then it stopped working. I remembered my dad told me about bashing the crap out of a starter one day, so I tried it. Voila, it worked, and stayed working.

look on youtube there's an electrical doo da that is under the dash . it's a relay or sumptin like that. i need to know how i post something, i can't find out how.
