04 Acura 1/7 el (civic in Drag :-) Ex noises

Wife's EL 1.7 50k Miles has developed a bit of ex noise on first startup of the day Sounds like a leaky pipe. Disapears by the time the hi Idle turns off. Clearly heat expansion is retightening 'whatever' it is

Soo. Gasket/ring failure or possibly a looseness in the Cat to downpipe joint? Wanting to get an opinion before I start dismantling, blindly looking for the problem.

Exhaust manifold cracked, or it's leaking between the manifold and head (loose hardware or broken stud)?

You could use a length of hose held to your ear as a stethoscope to pinpoint or at least narrow down the source of the noise before taking it all apart
