Are they the same Part number or Diff?

Replaced the ECT 1 and it didn't fix my prob and going to replace the ECT 2 and just making sure they are the same part????

Surely NOT the same petcock.

The sensor near the Rad would be there to turn the fans on when the engine is too hot?
