D light blinking

D light blinking

My 2004 Honda civic the transmission when on Drive some times start blinking and the car won't go on less I put it on drive 2 after I cut it off for a few minutes then it drives find for a while can anyone please help me I would appreciate thanks

Re: D light blinking

The blinking D light means there's a fault code related to the transmission.
Get the codes read (local parts stores like Autozone?), come back and post the code numbers and we'll have a look.
