another please HELP!

i have a 2001 civic and i cant figure out whats wrong with it. someone here has got to know and id really appreciate the help.

bought the car, added brakes, tires, and new front struts.

few months later the car overheated. it was diagnosed as a top dead sensor. but when this went out my catalytic converter or directly under it got a hole. can definitely hear the leak though. had the sensor fixed but haven't fixed the catalytic converter yet.

a few days later the car overheated again. brought it back to the mechanic. they said they pressure tested the head gasket and it passed. they diagnosed it as the cooling system. they replaced- radiator, thermostat, water pump, hose.

got the car back overheated the next day. brought it back and they said its now the head gasket and he wanted 800 to fix it when i called him out on not actually checking the head gasket like he said he did, he through in the towel and told me "he was done".

i took it to another mechanic and they said it was the head gasket. got a second opinion at another honda dealership mechanic and he said it was the head gasket so they changed the head gasket and i could drive it 10 miles home without it over heating.

the new radiator has a small leak on top what looks to be the overflow. the guys who miss diagnosed my the head gasket said that there was oil in my coolant but didnt say there was coolant in my oil. keep in mind i dont trust these guys at all so their word is worthless.

i have put so much money into this car and am strait fed up. with it. any help is appreciated. let me know if there is any more info you need. thanks

Re: another please HELP!

The issue was always the headgasket.

So it's not overhearing but your overflow is filling up? Your new radiator is bad?

when it gets really hot is your overflow bottle full to the top? is it overflowing with coolant?.....this is a sure sign of bad/blown head gasket

Re: another please HELP!

i picked the car up from getting a new head gasket put on a around 16 hours ago. on my way back it over heated still. i just went out now and checked the coolant tank and i couldn't even see coolant in it but there is oil on the walls on the inside of the tank.

i added coolant to the radiator and made sure there was no more air coming out. it runs normal when idling but when i go anywhere it overheats. now i'm not getting hot air though. it has a new thermostat, water pump, and radiator supposedly.
