2001 civic EX...door hinges?
2001 civic EX...door hinges?
Im sure most of you have had this happen or will soon.. the drivers door wont stay open like the hinges are worn out... is there anything I can do for this? or do you just have to replace the hinges?

The doors use plastic & rubber "checkers" to hold the door slightly at certain points.
If worn, they would allow the door to not stay put as it should.

Most of the cars have them installed from inside the door, you would have to at least pull the door panel off to reach it.
bolts are probably on the outside though. Open your door and take a look.
