Dead battery, need to reset immobilizer?
I put a new battery and a new alternator in my Honda the car work for a little bit now it won't allow me to start but every now and then it starts up I think its the immobilizer how can I fix that

What makes you think it's got anything to do with the immobilizer?
What clues do you see?

Cuz I put a new battery a brand new alternator a brand new belt and it worked fine for like a week but now the green light flashes and it won't turn on but I tried today and it turned on but now it won't turn on again

Green light is supposed to flash whenever you turn the key off.
If the green light flashes angrily while cranking the engine, that's a problem.

I know some immobilizers can misread the key or not communicate correctly if the battery voltage goes too low, but you say it's a new battery? Is it still fully charged?

The battery was going dead from trying to start it too many times but I read on here and said jumping it can mess it up can I jump the battery
