New Rims and Tires = Alignment
I don't know why, but when I put the 2002 SI rims on my car (going from 14" stock to 15" with same diameter) I had to get my wheels realigned. Oh well.

I don't understand why you guys would need an alignment after new wheels and tires.
Actually I thought I might have needed one after new wheels/tires, but it was just the tire design dosn't like the well worn road I drive to work. Years of trucks have left the sides and middle of the lane high, and the tires I have (Kumho 711s) like to "climb" up toward the higher points. ie: Drive slightly on the right side of the lane, car pulls to the right. Drive slightly on the left side of the lane, car pulls to the left.
I thought I was goin' crazy, until I noticed my car only did this on the worn out road and not the highway or new asphalt. I asked my friend with a Z28, and he said he has experienced the same thing.
Sooo... Maybe you guys don't need an alignment.

Hmm. Maybe the wheels aren't balanced? The increase in vibes with an increase in speed hints at this. Put your stockers back on and see if the problem goes away. If it does, take your rims/tires back to where you got 'em from and tell them the problem. It's possible a wheel weight fell off.

Did they realign the car? Or did they 'realign' (read: rebalanced) the wheels/tires?
