Talking O2 heater sensor problem???

So I just replaced my vehicles entire exhaust system with brand new parts from the manifold to the muffler including both o2 sensors, now my car is getting a check engine light with codes p0135 and p0141 which are o2 sensor heating errors from what I have seen online, I am at a loss as to what it could be everything is on correctly and bolts are tight and I also disconnected the battery for an hour to reset the OBD codes then just drove it 100 miles but light is still on. Any help would be great cause I'm very confused?????? Btw I drive a 2002 Honda Civic EX... Are there any known problems like this with o2 sensors from ebay?

Yeah, they tend to suck. You generally want to get OEM or Denso parts. I got lucky with my Bosch ones and Ive been running fine with them for a year and a half now.

OEM, DENSO or NTK. Check fuse 4 in the dash box too

I wouldn't put anything Bosch in a Honda. Yeah, you are lucky LOL.

I like the fuse idea cause it is weird that both new sensors are having a "heating malfunction"

Re: O2 heater sensor problem???

that both new sensors are having a "heating malfunction"
The definition is "heater circuit malfunction". Usual cause is incorrect resistance of the heating element circuit, especially in aftermarket sensors.
cause it is weird
It's not weird at all if the sensors are not exactly correct. I'd even go so far as to say "it's expected".

The computers can be finicky.

Re: O2 heater sensor problem???

Yea ebay sensors are junk. Id bet that your new sensors need replaced. Only go with denso or oem.
They are a little pricey since they are wideband sensors

His actually aren't the wide-bands. I think those started getting used for 2004 and beyond.
