noob question *Cheap 2001 honda civic lx coupe mods*

I have a 2001 honda civic lx coupe. the struts or shocks ( dont know which is which0 needs to be replaced. but i wanna drop the car 1.75 inch all around. What is the cheapest Lowering Springs & struts or shocks combination can i use to achieve this?

Also what other cheap mods can i do to this car to make it look and perform better?

Car is my daily driver
Not A racer
Dont wanna spend over $1500 on car.
