p0300 stumping this gearhead....

Completely stock 05civic ex se. Been trying to track down a p0300 (&0301,0302,0303,0304). Only does it as the car heats up to op. Temp. Every every path I test (ignition, fuel & air) come back inconclusive. The only thing that temporarily eliminates this misfire is chevron techron concentrate fuel system cleaner. I dont know enough (even with the month and a half of research) about this car to test voltages completely cause it seems to change everywhere I look.

I'll get get a freeze frame here soon. I wouldnt think valve adjustment cause when the cleaner is in it, it runs almost perfect. If I could describe it in a few words what its like, its as if the system forgets or loses when it needs to fire like its a few degrees off. Then it catches back up to where it needs to be. Until I slow down, then it forgets again when I accelerate.I havent gotten any lean codes, o2 codes, catalyst codes or anything other than 0300-0304. Btw compression is 183psi across all 4 cylinders.

How are you using that: Are you just pouring the Techron in the gas tank?

Big bottle or small?

Ever seen how badly an engine runs when the tank has waaaay too much Techron in it? LOL
