2003 Civic won't start after fuel pump housing replaced

Hi,

My 2003 civic was leaking gas from the top of the cracked pump housing. I replaced it with a new one along with the the seal. Everything went fine. Leak is gone and pump is pumping fuel to the fuel rail. Only problem is it won't start now!! I have checked and the pump is priming up to the fuel rail. I checked all fuses. I unhooked battery to reset ECU and it still doesn't start. It just cranks and occasionally it will start for about 2 seconds and die. It used to start right up perfectly before I replaced the pump housing and seal. Any ideas. Thanks so much!

Recheck your work. Sounds like you might have fuel flow but may not have good pressure---

due to leakage

New rubber O rings in all the hose fittings?
Fittings tight and securely attached all the way?

I mean the ones in the pump module inside the tank.

Thanks for the response. I replaced all the o rings and the seal for the housing. There are no signs or any leakage. when I pulled the line and put it into a container the flow looked pretty good. I don't know what else to check.

I noticed that my housing of the pump at the top is cracking too because I started smelling fuel inside my car. Did you just buy the filter? Where did you buy it from?
