Sinking Brake Pedal on Civic 2005
Sinking Brake Pedal on Civic 2005
I am experiencing a sinking brake pedal (almost to the floor) issue on my civic. The brake pedal were fine before a mechanic changed front left wheel bearing and ball joint. So, I decided to changed the front pads (which were fine as lots of pad left) and rear shoes (needed to be changed as they were cracked). I also flushed the brake fluid on all 4 wheels.
The brake pedal is pretty firm when the engine is stopped but sinks almost to the floor when the engine is running. I don't see any visible leaks on caliper, wheel cylinder or master cylinder. The lines doesn't seem rusted at all.
Any ideas how to approach and diagnose this problem? Thanks in advance.
