Figure i'll start this topic to get some inputs. For those of you that have had problems with your Honda 7th Gen civic, in dealing with Honda, have you found that the dealers are not giving you the customer satistfaction you truly deserve?

If they were truly trying to fix the problems, would you have a different opinion about Honda?

If you can't get your problem solved through one dealer, go to another one. It doesn't matter if you have a warranty or not.

If the other dealer can't do it, then go to another dealer after taking someone's neck with you at the service department...

If you run out of dealers, start writing letters to the dealers...

Do as much as you can with the dealers and if you're unsatisfied, that's when you go to Honda of America.

Look I have gone through three different dealerships and no good. I have tried to talk to American Honda look no good. All I can tell you is b!tch b!tch b!tch that is the only way to get anything done. Make sure you have EVERY dealing with Honda documented. Do not bother with service writers and people that aren't going to be able to do anything talk to managers and annoy them that's how you get **** done with Honda. Then get a lawyer. You can try talking to the owner of the dealership but it they are anything like mine they won't give a **** so it won't get you anywhere. And as far as if they were trying to fix things would I be happier with them well at this point there is nothing they could do to ever get me to own another Honda.

This is what I was told from the service guy at my dealership about why it took 3 tries to fix my problem.

At the warehouse where they kept the struts, they made a mistake in packaging and put the struts for ABS cars and non-ABS in the same boxes. Basically it was hit or miss if the dealership got the right struts. If they got the right ones, great. If not, you end up like me and get them reordered until the right ones are shipped.

I don't think I've ever had a pleasant time at a HONDA service department. But, I don't think you're ever gonna have a pleasant experience unless you own a MERCEDES BENZ or a LEXUS type car. These cars sell like hot cakes. It's sickening how many CIVIC's are on the road. they hold their value so well, what do you expect?

I think if it was a situation where loaner cars were guaranteed there wouldn't be as many unhappy customers there.
