I have been side swipped by a zero-turn riding lawn mower...
While parked my car (a 2002 Honda Civic with 262,00 miles on it) was hit on the passengers side by a zero-turn riding doing less the 5 mph. It hit in just the right to do major damage. Best a I can tell the impact point is were the bumper a fender meet by the wheel well (very small dent there). The impact caused the front bumper to almost completely come off (broke some of the mounting holes), all the plastic to mount it on that side is also damaged.
My question is what type of damage is it possible that was done to the suspension system? If I duct tape the bumper on to the car and drive it starts feel like something is wrong in the suspension system at 50 mph. (I have told State Farm it is not drivable.) I am really wanting them to total it. However, I need to have all my ducks in row if they are going to do that...
