2003 Manual Honda Civic EX Stall/Stumble Under Load
2003 Manual Honda Civic EX Stall/Stumble Under Load
So a little history on this car. Car came to me with a misfire and lose of coolant. Performed leak down test and found cylinders leaking into cooling system by watching radiator overflow when performing leak down. So i removed the head sent it to get inspected, valve job, and resurfaced. Installed head back on car and installed new timing belts and components. Performed valve adjustment and started her up. Car runs fine at idle/neutral im able to rev it up no problem. So I take it for a road test and after about 2 mins of driving the car bogs like it wants to stall but never actually does. I coast it back to my garage on a slight incline and it wont make it up it stalls after about 10 attempts i get it up. Pop the hood and nothing seems out of place. Connect my scan tool and find no codes including pending/history. So i suspected a misaligned timing belt. Tore it apart and marks check out good. I should note that after it stalled on me i tried revving it in neutral and again no problem. It only stalls under load. I already checked for a plugged cat. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated because right now i dont have much to go on.

Plug a scanner in, watch the front O2 when it bogs.
Does it show as rich or lean?

All sensors plugged in?
EDIT: Guess that was it.
As a n00b tech, that was something I did a few times on unfamiliar jobs due to minimal notes/organization and not a small amount of tween arrogance... until my nads dropped and I grew up a little Or a lot.
Keeping track of everything you need to have done right and checklisting is a lot easier than diagnosing a poor reass'y.
