Squealing Belts (Belt Replacement?)
Squealing Belts (Belt Replacement?)
Okay, so last week I got my 2002 Honda Civic LX Coupe. And every time I start it up, the belts squeal for a good minute or less, then it'll stop. Until my first downshift. But after that it quits.
I've been scrolling all these pages and haven't found a DIY page for replacing the belts. Does anyone know of one? Or... Do I just need to tighten them? I figured I'd just replace them since I don't know when they were last replaced.

Re: Squealing Belts (Belt Replacement?)
Might just be loose, but would be a good call to replace them.
I have a DIY for alternator replacement, it's pretty much the same process to replace power steering and alternator belts.
