"SOME" is normal and expected.

Compare yours to another identical car that has no complaints, see if yours acts the same.

OK then, if it is a brand new issue, then something unusual is probably going on. Investigate. Find everything out of the ordinary and see if they all add up.

Fluid level OK?
How about the fluid condition?
Does it shift normally while driving?
Motor mounts all good?
Axles? Suspension?

I don't have a clue.

You have one of the best people to ask trying to work with you right now....answer his questions.

Are you trying to take off as soon as it hits D ?.... If so it will jerk.

If you do not know when the last drain and refill was done you could try one. (OEM fluid)

Re: car jerks when shifting from R to D

Play nice guys... No need to get personal over a public forum.

Do a drain and fill, NOT A FLUSH though. See if that helps. If not your other option is to keep driving it and hope the tranny doesn't bite it. These transmissions are bad and everyone knows it. You just cross your fingers that it lasts.

Clue: There are 70 different transmission fluids out there for the automotive market. Only one of them is absolutely correct for your car.

Hondas Z-1 trans fluid has been replaced by DW-1.

Honda ATF from your dealer. Make sure your mechanic is not doing a flush just a drain and fill this is critical to the life of your transmission.

ATF, That's a drain and fill.

Oil level, Check the oil once it has set for a couple minutes or more.

I m not talkig about transmission oil here. This was for engine oil which I got changed couple months ago and drove 3k kms already on it. But the oil is 2cm above
from the recommended Mark.

Many idiots just dump in 5 quarts of oil, because "all cars must get 5 quarts of oil, no matter if it needs it or not".

Along the same lines of thinking, "all fluids must be oil".
These are the same idiots that will put oil in your brake fluid reservoir, completely ruining every bit of the brake system.

2cm is a little high. Was your car completely level when you checked it, and had it sat for a while?

Or get under the car, find the oil pan drain bolt, loosen it and drain a little out yourself.

Wait a minute.
You ALREADY drove 3k on that oil. It might have been perfectly correct when the oil change was done. You did not check. You don't have a leg to stand on at this time.

The oil could be diluted with fuel for all we know, causing it to only appear to be too full.

I'll suggest you just get the oil changed and start fresh with a known quantity.

Sounds like he didn't change it... but, should be monitoring it regardless. Just pop the dipstick every time you get gas. It's a bit overkill but you know your covered/
