Are they interchangable?

Hey Guys:

Anybody out there ever try to install the EX variable speed wipers in a LX. Nothing seems to answer that question in the archives.
On most vehicles the switch is simple as the wiper lever contains all of the components that make the difference. A different motor is not necessary. It's a simple trade. Whadddya think?

6th gen, ?

7th gen, Yes plug and play w/new EX switch.

8th gen, requires single wire to MICU connector pin.
