ok i have a 2003 civic it has a noise comming from the trans with the clutch out and 1-3 gear 4th and 5th are quieter i think unless the wind noise covers it up..ive replace the clutch and throwout bearing thinking thaat was the problem but the noise is still there and getting worse..any ideas? ill post a link to the video with the noise.. when you push the clutch in does the noise go away?

if yes, that would most likely indicate a tranny problem,

yea its quiet with clutch in..i know its a tranny problem im just looking for what to replace first i dont have the extra money to throw parts at it..i was hoping the clutch and throw out bearing would fix it but it didnt :/

if you dont know alot about trannies i wouldnt mess with it, if you can remove the tranny yourself then i would just take it to a shop for a re and re, or buy a used one, or drive it till it dies, then do the above
