Blue plug under passenger seat? 2002 civic, what is it for?
Hi all. I need an answer quick. I am putting in RSX seats into my 2002 civic ex with side airbag. The OEM passenger seat has a blue plug under the seat that seems to go somewhere in the actual seat, while the driver side does not have this blue plug. What is the blue plug for? I want to be sure before i install the RSX seats and turn the car back on.
Re: Blue plug under passenger seat? 2002 civic, what is it for?
On US model seats, the plug should be for the side airbag, or are you saying there are two plugs on the passenger seat? In canadian models the seats are heated, so there sould be a plug for that as well.
Re: Blue plug under passenger seat? 2002 civic, what is it for?
The only thing I can think of it being is a passenger airbag on/off switch, but that's just a shot in the dark...hopefully someone else will be able to help with a wiring diagram...In my 2004 DX, the passenger seat only needed plugs for the seatbelt and the heated seat, I don't have side airbags, so the plug for that wasn't used, and on the driver side it was the same deal.
