Car will Start perfectly every time, but shut off after two seconds, every time. K&N?

My 2005 Civic was running great, and as preventative maintenance I changed the timing belt, drive belts, and alternator. Also changed engine oil, coolant, and manual transmission fluid. Lastly, I Installed a K&N Intake kit. Now when I start the car it will die within two seconds, whether idling at 500 rpm or being revved up to 5,000 rpm.

You did all this work, and now it won't run.
You have not been able to run the engine at all since you did any of this work?
Green key light flashes as it dies? (yes or no)
Unplug the CAM sensor. Does it run now? (yes)
Your timing belt is a tooth or two off. Correct it NOW.

Yes, the car ran perfectly and I did all of the above as preventative maintenance so to speak. When put all back together is when it started shutting off after a second or two. The green key light indicator does not flash after it shuts down. I have a hard time believing the timing could be off since even at 5,000 rpm it runs so smoothly. However today I will unplug the CAM sensor and see if that does the trick.

I'm trying to understand:

I'm no expert but could it be the crank sensor? I read they're delicate.
I know it wouldn't start if the sensor was unplugged but maybe the computer thinks its ok until the engine starts, then it sees a problem and shuts it down.
I figure it would throw a code so get a scanner and see if any errors show up.

A bad ignition switch comes to mind too.

The only two things I can think of that shut the engine off at two seconds is the immobilizer and the cam timing.
They shut off as if the ignition was killed at 2 seconds. No stumbles.
This is all I have gathered from your descriptions thus far.
Everything else I have encountered has variable timespans.
The ignition switch does not leave any code.
Many other failed parts do not leave codes either.
