My civic stoped shifting gears, wtd?
'97 civic ex auto-transmission stoped shifting gears with the engine still on. I could wait 5-10min with it off then drive a few hundred feet then stop again. Neither R-D4-D3 or 2 would work it just accelerates the engine not the car. When this was happening i noticed the D4 light comes on for a few sec. I loosened the tran bolt below which came off with some force/ease and fluid looks clean and is full.
(bought the car a few months ago)
My gas gauge dropped a week ago then back up two days later and the temp gauge dropped a little and there is also a leak somewhere that a mechanic or i couldnt find (small-med leak).
