unknown cause of rattle in driver side front floor board

I recently purchased a 2005 Civic LX Special Edition and before I modify anything on the car I would like to fix the rattle in the floor board. I do not know what exactly is the problem, but when i drive on uneven pavement or gravel i hear this clanging noise that sounds like it is comming from around my floor board. This is only on my side of the car and i can feel it in the floor board also. If anyone has had this problem with the 7th generation civic or knows what it might be please let me know.
Thanks

Inspect the front radius arm bushings for cracks and voids.
