hey everyone i have a 2004 honda civic, started making a slight chattering noise about 10k ago alot worse now. you push in the clutch it stops, seeems like its always their threw 1st 2nd & 3rd the more you get into it the louder it gets, then when you let off of it the car kinda of rocks back & forwads like its grabing, then it's not, then it is. you can start out in a gear get to a certian rmp and it gets really loud & sounds like it jumped out of gear. gets really annoying after awhile replaced the clutch already. could it be the imput shaft bearing?. woundering if anyone has had the same problem or could give me some ideas. thanks everyone for reading.

Could be the throw out bearing.

Sounds like a bad input-shaft bearing to me. A bad throw out bearing would make noise with the clutch disengaged (pedal in).

thanks from what iv been hearing seems like thats what my problem is. in a couple weeks im going to pull my transmission and open her up and see whats going on inside, i gladly will keep everyone posted on what solves this problem.
