Re: Broken sunroof

Should be fairly easy.
Make sure the mechanism is in the fully closed position.
Slide the shade back.
Remove the plastic trims from the sides (screws)
Remove the nuts that hold the glass to the sliding frame, and there may be shims for height alignment. Mark them, they may be different thicknesses.
Push the glass panel parts straight up to remove.

Vacuum out the broken glass with a strong shop vac.

Reassemble, just adjust the glass height before tightening it all up. The shims will probably just need to go back where they started.

Sounds easy. I just picked up a 2004 civic sunroof. Do you think it will fit my 2003?

Re: Broken sunroof

Find a parts catalog and look up the glass for each car, see if the part numbers are the same.

Re: Broken sunroof

Pretty sure there is someone selling a whole sunroof assembly in the for sale section. Somebody rolled their car and totaled it but I believe the sunroof is still unclaimed. Think it was an 04 but don't quote me on it.
