Last night I put a new camshaft (TDC) sensor in. I also unplugged the battery for a half hour to clear the code. On the way to work this morning I got the P1361 code. Does disconnecting the battery for an extended period successfully clear the code?

Why would I get a P1361 error if I just put a new OEM sensor in?

Other issues that may or my not affect this issue.

-Exhaust leak between front pipe and header down pipe. My car sounds like a lawnmower now.(picking up a new gasket and hardware on the way home)
-Threw P1457 error last week, put a new evap valve in, got P1361 the next day so I don't know if this is resolved yet.

Make sure it is not loose, what year is your car? engine? any modifications?

Disconnecting works, but you can also just pull the fuse under the hood for a few minutes too..think it back up fuse #47 or something like that.
